Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026.
TrukZone Fleet is the app lorry owners and fleet operators use to run their fleet: their lorries and papers, their drivers, trips, money and books, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. It works with TrukZone Driver, the app the drivers use. This page explains what TrukZone Fleet collects, why, who else sees it, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. The drivers' own app has its own policy, at app.ttmt.co.in/Privacy_driver.
Who is responsible
Mirusoft Consultancy (OPC) Private limited operates TrukZone Fleet.

Protection Act, 2023): grievance@mirusoft.in

Two kinds of information, two kinds of responsibility. For your own account — your number, your business details, your purchases — we decide how it is used, as this page describes. Much of what you keep in the app is about other people: your drivers, your office staff, your parties, credit parties and diesel bunks. For those records you decide why they are kept and what they are used for; we store and process them for you, to run the app, and for nothing else.
What we collect, and why
| What | Why | Where it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Your mobile number, and a password if you choose to set one | It is your account. A code by SMS proves it is you; the password lets you sign in without waiting for one. | Our server, until the account is closed. Codes and the password only as a one-way hash. |
| Your business details — company name, contact name, address, town, state, your office's place on the map, GST number, lorry receipt series | Your records, your lorry receipt numbers, your invoices, and placing your office for the trip calculator. | Our server |
| Your lorries — numbers, types, photographs of their papers (RC, insurance, permit, fitness, tax, pollution), valid-till dates, renewals and EMIs, checklists | So you are reminded before a paper lapses, and so the driver of a lorry sees the papers you choose to share with them. | Our server; the photographs on our image service |
| Trips and money — trips and their legs, freight, parties, expenses with bill photographs, advances, collections, settlements, buy and sell trades, lorry receipt numbers, the office book, the cash book, day closes and approvals | Your books. A trip's figures are shared with the driver who drove it, so you both see the same numbers. | Our server; bill photographs on our image service |
| People in your books — parties, credit parties and diesel bunks: names, phone numbers, towns, balances, notes. Your bank accounts: bank, branch, account number and the name you give each | Your records of who owes what, and which account a payment went through. | Our server |
| Office staff users — user name, display name, password, what each may see and change, last sign-in, wrong-password count | So your staff can sign in with only the access you gave them. | Our server; passwords only as a one-way hash |
| The phones and computers signed in to your account, and a notification token for each | Signing in, signing a lost device out, and sending notifications. | Our server, and Apple or Google for the token |
| Your GPS company's login, API link or token, and which tracker is on which lorry | To read where your lorries are. See Your GPS company. | Our server. Never sent back to any app or browser. |
| Your phone's location | See Location. | Our server keeps your latest position only. |
| Messages, voice notes and photographs you send; community posts | To deliver them to the person or group you sent them to, and to warn drivers nearby. | Our server holds a message until it is delivered — seven days at most — then it exists only on the phones involved. Posts until they expire. |
| A lorry you put up on the Market — its details, photographs and price, your name and number, and where it is | To show it to buyers. | Our server, until you take it down |
| Interview requests you send to drivers for hire | The driver is sent your company name and phone number so they can ring you. | Our server |
| Loads you show interest in, and lorries you put on our load office's list of lorries waiting for a load — with where the lorry is and where you prefer to go | So the office can offer you a load going your way. | Our server and our load office |
| Premium — your plan, the store's receipt for an in-app purchase, your invoices. For a website purchase: the name, email, GSTIN and address you give for the invoice, and Razorpay's payment reference | To switch Premium on, renew it, and give you receipts and GST invoices. | Our licence service, for as long as tax law requires |
| Counts of the things a plan limits — trips added, trip-calculator runs | To apply your plan's limits. Not used for advertising or profiling. | Our server |
| Feedback you send — what you write, a screenshot, a voice recording, a rating | So we can read it and put things right. | Our server. Voice recordings are deleted after 90 days. |
We do not use advertising or analytics services in the app, we do not show you advertisements, and we do not sell your data.
Your drivers
Each driver has their own TrukZone Driver account. You can invite a driver — searching by at least the last six digits of their number, or by name or town, with the number masked until they accept — and a driver can ask to join you; nobody is added until the other side accepts. A driver belongs to one fleet at a time. Once a driver has joined, you and the office staff you allow can see:
- their name, number, and the lorry you put them on;
- the trips they drive and the money on them — expenses, collections, advances, bill photographs, odometer readings, settlements;
- their position, as their own settings allow (see Location);
- the papers they choose to share with you — and only those.
You can also file a paper about a driver, such as a copy of their licence you already hold. When a driver leaves or you remove them, you stop seeing their position and they leave your fleet's chat group; the trips they drove stay in your books, because they are your records of journeys that happened. Please tell your drivers how you use what you see about them.
Location
Your own phone
While TrukZone Fleet is open and you have allowed location, it checks where you are every few minutes and tells our server when you have moved about 10 km or half an hour has passed. This puts you in the chat groups for the town you are in and shows loads, help requests and workshops near you. Our server keeps only your latest position, not a history. The app asks for location only while you are using it — never "Allow all the time" — and it does not share your phone's location when it is closed. You can refuse location; those features then work without it, less usefully.
A place you choose on the map — your office, a lorry for sale, a community post — is sent with what it belongs to.
Your lorries
- From your drivers' phones. A driver's last known position, with the time it was taken, while they are in your fleet. If you have Premium and the driver allows it, the route of a trip while it runs, about once a minute. That route is seen by you, the office staff you give access to trips, and the driver; it is deleted ten days after sharing ends, and nothing older than sixty days is kept on a trip that is never closed.
- From your GPS company, if you connect one — see below.
Your GPS company
To show a lorry's position from the tracker fitted to it, you give us the login, API link or token you use with your GPS company, and say which tracker is on which lorry. Our server uses it to ask the GPS company where your lorries are, how far they ran and how fast they went, when the app needs it. We keep the time of each lorry's last report, not a history of positions. Your login is kept on our server, is never sent back to any app or browser — the app shows only a masked hint — and is deleted when you remove that GPS company or close your account. Please make sure you are entitled to give it to us. The GPS company is yours, not ours, and its own privacy policy applies to what it holds.
Your phone's address book
The app can show which drivers already in your contacts are on TrukZone, without uploading your address book:
- Names never leave your phone. The matching is done on the phone and the names are kept only there.
- Numbers are turned into scrambled codes before they are sent; the server answers which codes it recognises and then discards what it was sent.
- To be straight with you: an Indian mobile number is only ten digits, so a code of this kind is not truly irreversible by somebody determined enough. The real protection is that the server does not keep them.
You can refuse the contacts permission and add a driver by typing the number.
Permissions the app asks for
- Location, while using the app — precise if you allow it, approximate if not. For the uses above. Never "Allow all the time".
- Camera — photographing papers and bills, photographs in a chat or a Market listing, and scanning the code on a computer to link it.
- Photos — choosing a picture you already took.
- Microphone — recording a voice note or spoken feedback, only while you record.
- Contacts — the matching described above.
- Notifications — requests from your drivers, trips, loads, messages and alerts.
- Bluetooth / nearby devices — printing on a receipt printer. On Android it is declared as never used for location. Nothing is sent anywhere else.
Every one of these can be refused; refusing switches off only that feature.
What other people can see
- Your drivers — the trips they drive and the money on them, the papers you share for their lorry, and your fleet's chat group.
- Your office staff — what you allow each of them to see.
- Other users in chat and the community — your chat name and messages in the groups you are in; your position only in a message you send; your number only when you ask for or offer help, and the app warns you first.
- Drivers for hire — your company name and number, when you ask one for an interview.
- Buyers on the Market — your listing, and your name and phone number to anybody who opens it, in the app or on trukzone.in. The board shows the town; the exact place is shown only in the app.
- Our load office — what is listed under loads above.
Your books, your parties, your bank accounts and your staff are never shown to other users.
Who else we share with
We use these services to run the app. Each receives only what it needs:
- 2Factor (India) — sends the SMS codes. Receives your mobile number.
- Mirusoft image service — stores photographs of papers, bills and Market listings.
- Mirusoft licence service — keeps your plan, purchases and invoices.
- Google Play and the Apple App Store — handle in-app purchases and subscriptions. We receive a receipt, not your payment details.
- Razorpay — handles payments on our website. We receive a payment reference, never your card, bank or UPI details.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service — deliver notifications. Receive a device token and the line shown on your lock screen.
- OpenStreetMap — supplies map pictures. Your device requests map tiles from it, which reveals roughly which part of the map you are looking at.
- Google Maps Platform — our server sends it places and positions to work out routes, distances, tolls and town names. Answers are cached on our server for up to 30 days.
- Your phone's own map service (Apple or Google) — your phone asks it for the name of the place you are in.
- Your GPS company — our server sends it your login to read your lorries' positions.
- Our hosting providers — run the servers your data is stored on, which may be in India or abroad.
We also hand over data where Indian law requires it — a court order, or a lawful demand from the police or a tax authority.
How long we keep it
- Your fleet's records — lorries, papers, drivers, trips, books, parties, staff: until you close the account, and then 30 days.
- Entries struck out of your books — kept with the books, marked as struck out, so the books can be checked.
- Messages — deleted from our server when delivered, and after seven days if they cannot be.
- Community posts — deleted when they expire.
- Your phone's location — one position, replaced each time.
- The route of a shared trip — ten days after sharing ends; sixty days at most on a trip that is never closed.
- Feedback voice recordings — 90 days.
- Map and toll answers — up to 30 days.
- Purchases and invoices — as long as tax law requires, also after the account is closed.
- Reports of abuse — two years, so a repeat offender can be recognised.
Closing your account and deleting your data
In the app
- Open TrukZone Fleet and go to Settings.
- At the bottom, tap Close this fleet account. Only the owner can do this, not office staff.
- Read what will go, ask for the code, and enter the code sent to your number.
Signing in stops at once on every device, your office staff and linked computers included. Thirty days later your fleet is erased: your lorries and their papers, your drivers' place in your fleet, every trip with its expenses, collections, settlements and bill photographs, your parties and what they owe, the office book, the cash book, your bank accounts and the days you signed off, your GPS company logins, checklists, your office staff users and the devices signed in. If you sign in again before then, it is called off.
What closing the account does not do
- It does not touch your TrukZone Driver account on the same number; delete that at app.ttmt.co.in/delete_driver.
- It does not delete your drivers' own accounts — those are theirs.
- It does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel that in your store account settings.
- It does not take down a lorry you put on the Market. Take it down or mark it sold first, or write to us and we will remove it.
- It does not remove purchase records and invoices, which tax law requires us to keep.
- The route of a shared trip is deleted on its own schedule above, and a message already delivered stays on the phone that received it — we cannot reach into another person's phone.
Without the app, or to ask for less
If you no longer have the phone or cannot sign in, or you want only some of your data deleted, write to support@mirusoft.in with your registered mobile number. We will confirm it is you before we act, and answer within 30 days. You can write to the same address for a copy of your data or to have it corrected.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or completed, have it erased, and nominate somebody to act for you if you die or cannot act. You may withdraw your consent by closing your account. Write to support@mirusoft.in, or to our Grievance Officer at grievance@mirusoft.in; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
If you are a driver, staff member, party or anybody else whose details a fleet owner keeps in the app, please ask that fleet owner first — they decide what is kept about you. If they do not answer, write to us.
Security
Everything between the app and our servers travels over an encrypted connection. SMS codes and passwords, yours and your staff's, are stored only as one-way hashes. Staff sign-in locks after repeated wrong passwords. GPS logins are never sent back out of our server. You can see the computers linked to your account and sign any of them out. No system is perfect; if we find that your data has been exposed, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Age
TrukZone Fleet is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child is using it, write to us and we will remove the account.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. The terms you agreed to in the app are at trukzone.in/fleet/terms.
